What exactly is a wax melt?
A wax melt is a small, wickless piece of scented wax designed to be melted in a wax burner. Unlike a candle, there's no flame involved in the wax itself — instead, the heat from a tea light or an electric burner underneath gently warms the wax, releasing its fragrance into the room. Because there's no wick burning away, the scent tends to last longer and fill the space more evenly.
How do you use them?
Using wax melts couldn't be simpler:
Place your wax melt into the dish of your wax burner — you can use a single piece or break off a portion, depending on how strong you want the scent.
Light a tea light underneath (or switch on your electric burner).
Within minutes, the wax begins to melt and the fragrance is released.
When the scent fades, let the wax cool and solidify, then remove it and swap in a fresh melt.
